ABOUT PROJECT
Jonathan Kohlwey is a Denver Colorado based photographer, specializing in weddings, live music/events, nature, and portraits. Jon needed to develop a brand that transcended the different types of imagery he was capturing. With a clean and colorful personal style, the brand needed to be bold and recognizable, without overshadowing the photography itself. After a long exploration phase, and many logo concepts, a brand showcasing Jon’s true personality came to life.
BRAND GUIDELINES
After the logo was born, the rest of the identity fell into place quickly. Modern sans-serif fonts gave way to hairline accents and airy spaces, full of crisp white. The brand colors, two of Jon‘s favorite, create a beautiful gradient – reminiscent of the aurora borealis and the night sky. With Ultra Violet Purple as the Pantone of the year, Jonathan Kohlwey photography couldn’t be off to a stronger start!
